The Kauffman Community Center (KCC) is a large brick and steel building with banquet or conference capacity for approximately 300 persons and a large, paved parking lot.  It has a professional sound system and a 60-inch projection TV for use (with fee) for DVD/VHS movies and slide presentations (bring your own projector).  The Community Center is available for public rentals for conferences, reunions, large family gatherings, showers, receptions, charitable and commercial meetings.  The Ruritan club members also provide banquet services and offer a varied selection of entrees - see Banquet Menu Page.  Banquet food service is available either family style or buffet style.

The Kauffman Ruritan Pavilion and Park provides a pleasant place for picnics, Bar-B-Ques, and recreation for both children and adults.  The Pavilion can be reserved for a donation and will accomodate 50 people under-cover and another 10 at patio-style tables located just outside the covered pavilion.  The built-in charcoal grills at the end of the Pavilion provide a great place for preparing meals al fresco (bring your own charcoal).  Restrooms are available in the end of the Field House.  The Park provides a variety of playground facilities, a horseshoe pit (bring your own horseshoes),and a vollyball court as well as a short hiking trail through the woods.

The Kauffman Ballfield and Field House offers a regulation-size baseball/softball field with bleachers, modern restrooms, and a concession stand open for tournament games as requested.  To reserve the field contact Ben Widder at (717) 375-2934.
